In one month people will travel from New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida and all parts of Ohio to perform in the 55th season of Paul Green’s “Trumpet in the Land.”

Trumpet officials are looking for available short-term housing for actors and production staff to call home while in New Philadelphia. Furnished or unfurnished, affordable apartments and/or houses are needed from June 1 through Aug. 31.

In addition to company housing, two riding horses also are needed for the run of the show. Horses should be amateur-friendly with an easygoing personality. Trumpet in the Land will house, board and take care of all veterinary needs throughout the summer. The owner is required to transport horses to and from the amphitheater.

Both adult and child performers are still needed for “Trumpet in the Land.” Adults must be 17 or older, and children must be between the age of 6 and 10. Performances are Wednesday through Saturday. Auditions are required for adult performers; an interview with parent and child is needed for children.
