Trio of local talents earn All-Ohio volleyball honors
Hiland’s Ava Troyer patrolled the nets for this year’s regional qualifying team, and her effort produced a second-team All-Ohio honor.

The Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association released the All-Ohio volleyball teams, and three local players were named to the teams.

Garaway’s Morgan Schlabach was a second-team selection in Division III. Hiland’s Ava Troyer was a second-team pick, and Haley Yoder picked up honorable mention accolades in Div. IV.

A junior outside hitter, Schlabach averaged 5.8 kills and 4.0 digs in 76 sets.

A senior middle hitter, Troyer averaged 4.7 kills and recorded 67 blocks in 84 sets.

A senior outside hitter, Yoder averaged 4.4 kills, 4.2 digs and tallied 56 aces in 88 sets.
