TOPS Nashville discusses healthy habits
Local group meets weekly at Nashville Global Methodist Church to support weight loss and wellness
TOPS1573 Nashville met March 11, when the group recorded only one gain for the week.
Gaye Keller was the best weekly loser and encouraged members to drink plenty of water. Leo Tope was the best weekly KOPS.
Janice Tope presented a program from the July/August issue of TOPS News based on the article “No Cheating: Building Healthy Habits to Create Lasting Change.” The article emphasized that a positive attitude changes everything and encouraged members to take responsibility for what they eat and how they exercise, then change their behavior. It also noted that food isn’t morally good or bad.
The club meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Nashville Global Methodist Church, with weigh-in at 5 p.m.
