The Tuscarawas Main Library is seeking area artists to participate in its third annual Tiny Art Show this February.

“We provide the mini canvases; you provide the art,” public service associate Erin Snider said.

Professional and amateur artists of all ages are encouraged to participate. Participants can stop by the Tuscarawas Main Library starting Jan. 22 to pick up a mini canvas.

According to Snider, the library will have 100 canvases available for free, and participants may supply their own canvas, no bigger than 4-by-4 inches. This event is open to all ages and is first come, first served.

“Decorate it any way you wish and bring it back by Feb. 3 at 4 p.m., and we will display it in our lobby display case for the rest of the month,” Snider said.

Community members can vote for their favorite piece Feb. 19-28 with winners being announced in March.

The Tuscarawas Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW in New Philadelphia. Visit the library’s online event calendar at www.tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474.
