The Dover Public Library will host its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to noon. People can come to the rear of the library, look at the variety of plants available and take a few home. There also will be a seed library. Donations will be accepted.

If you have plants you would like to donate to the plant sale, bring them to the library the day before the sale or even the morning of the sale. If you wish to bring your donated plants the day before, pull into the back parking lot and leave the plants in the area where the benches and the water fountain are. If you bring them on the Saturday of the sale, volunteers and staff members will be there to help.

Denise Campbell-Johnson, interlibrary loan librarian, has taken cuttings from some of the plants inside the library and has nurtured them so they will be available at the plant sale. Proceeds from the plant sale will be used to purchase and care for plants at the library. Outside, people can admire plants that adorn the front entrance and the garden area in the rear of the building. Inside, people can view many plants on the window sills.

Call the library at 330-343-6123. The library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover.
