It’s newly built showroom and manufacturing facility allows it to build a large percentage of its own furniture. If it doesn’t come from in-house, the business utilizes the expertise of a number of specialized local Amish builders.

“The local shops we work with are very professional and they specialize in what they provide for us, so people are getting the very finest quality products,” manager Kendrick Mullet said.

Complete sets for bedroom, dining room, kitchen, living room, outdoor and office furniture can be found in the store’s massive showrooms. With an array of stains from which to choose, they can custom match anyone’s desire, whether they are working with rustic cherry, brown maple, oak or any number of natural woods.

Each piece is carefully and expertly crafted before it finds its way to the showroom.

“We do a lot of custom furniture, and everything is built one piece at a time,” Mullet said. “We don’t work like an assembly line. One person will take a piece from the beginning to end, and then it becomes more a matter

“If someone finds the piece they really want online or in a magazine, or if they have the idea in their head, we can create a design to their exact needs,” Mullet said. “We do have a lot of variety to choose from in-store, but we are catering to more and more people who are looking for custom-built furniture, and our professional staff does a wonderful job of walking with a customer through every step of the process.”

“Being able to design a piece of furniture that meets a client’s every expectation is exciting, and our craftsmen take great pride in their work,” Mullet said. “Customers will actually get to sit down with the actual builder who will design and create their piece, so they know they are getting exactly what they want.”

During the design process, sketches and design modifications are made and a cost estimate is provided, usually while the customer is there on their initial visit. Since it is all built on location, the normal lead time is just 10 weeks.
