The board of directors of the Wayne County Agriculture Society announced Jarrod Snell has joined the leadership team for the Wayne County Fair as the next fair manager. Snell will join Matt Martin, the current fair manager, and will work with Martin as he transitions to his new role.

“It’s the Wayne County Fair. Need I say more? I have attended the Wayne County Fair my entire life and now am honored to be in this position to lead the fair,” Snell said.

Snell is a graduate of Triway High School and a lifelong Wayne County resident, and he and his wife Megan have three children. He previously worked at the Ohio State University as academic coordinator for the local dairy facility and has served on the Wayne County Junior Fair Goat Committee.

The fair board thanks Martin for his dedication and commitment to the Wayne County Fair as his leadership has provided direction through many challenges and successes. This year's fair, the 175th edition, is scheduled for Sept. 7-12.
