Route 30 Express Tour is Nov. 18 at various stops

November is National Model Train Month, and the 23rd annual Route 30 Express Layout Tour will be held Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at various locations in Wayne County.

At each stop guests of all ages can see various model train layouts, all HO scale, and at one stop, the Dabo Yard at 2174 S. Crown Hill Road in Orrville, there will be static displays of actual train equipment.

The stops include the following:

—Glen Yoder, 876 S. Wenger Road, Dalton.

—Larry Olsen, 189 Pres Vannes Drive, Dalton.

—Orrville Depot, West Market and Depot streets, Orrville.

—Karl Emler, 2685 E. Smithville Western Road, Wooster.

—Wooster Society of Model Railroaders, Zion Lutheran Church basement, 301 N. Market St., Wooster.

The Wooster branch of the Wayne County Public Library, 220 W. Liberty St., Wooster, is not a stop on this year’s tour due to ongoing renovations there but will be back as a tour stop in 2024.
