Ribbon cutting held for Jarrett expansion
The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the third phase of Jarrett’s Warehouse expansion in Orrville on Jan. 24.

The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Jan. 24, celebrating Jarrett’s third phase of warehouse expansion at 1781 N. Main St. in Orrville. The expansion, which was completed last month, adds an additional 93,000 square feet of space at the Orrville location, bringing the current total space to 400,000 square feet.

“Orrville and the Wayne County area are full of good, hardworking people,” Mike Jarrett said. “Many of our customers choose Orrville because of our dedicated employees and continuity of our workforce.”

More than 60 Orrville Area Chamber members and Jarrett employees attended the event.

Jarrett Warehousing provides inventory management and warehousing services that provide inventory flexibility and readiness to ship. The company provides warehousing and order fulfillment services.

Jarrett’s hands-on approach allows the company to work with clients to streamline the process of warehousing using a cloud-based Warehouse Management System. Jarrett also provides specialized B2B and B2C warehousing and order fulfillment, which is supported by advanced analytics and API/EDI connectivity and offers food-grade warehousing for improved quality, safety and efficiency.

“We have 26 employees at the Orrville warehouse location who perform picking, kitting, storage, special projects, pallet sorting, pallet building, container striping, LTL, TL, drayage, ocean container routing, parcel and other custom-requested services,” Jarrett said.
