John Grisham has donated a signed first edition of his book, Ford County: Stories to help the Newcomerstown Public Library. The first edition of the title, published in November 2009, is one of the items going up for bid on April 17, as part of the Back On Track Fundraising Committee’s Literary Auction, which runs through May 8. Another recent addition to the auction featuring letters and books signed by bestselling authors is an advance reading copy of Queen of the Night signed by J.A. Jance. The uncorrected proof of the title, due for release at the end of July 2010, is accompanied by a note from the famous mystery writer. Book enthusiasts may bid in person at the Newcomerstown Public Library, or by way of the library website at www.newcomerstownlibrary.org. Photos of items are available on the website.
