September Book Club

Orrville Public Library’s September Book Club choice is “Everything Sad Is Untrue,” the autobiography of Daniel Nayeri. Winner of the New York Times, Amazon and Wall Street Journal Best of Year awards and more, this novel shares his family’s history and how they became refugees to the United States.

Check out a copy of the book and plan to come to the book club on Thursday, Sept. 12. Come to either the 10 a.m. or the 6:30 p.m. gathering. No registration is needed.

Friends group plans book sale

Orrville Public Library’s Friends Used Book Sale will be Sept. 19-21. If you’re cleaning out your house, the library will gladly accept donations of clean, used books through Saturday, Sept. 14. Events like the book sale are used by the Friends group to help raise funds for special projects the library could not otherwise afford. Also, there are time slots available if you’d like to volunteer to work at the sale.

The book sale will open at 10 a.m. each day and will close at 7 p.m. on Thursday, 5 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. The event will be held in the library’s downstairs community room.

For more information call the library at 330-683-1065.
