Volunteer opportunities
Volunteers play an essential role in OneEighty. OneEighty deals with sexual abuse, drug intervention and other sensitive topics. Due to that fact, volunteers are recruited and treated like employees.
There are three options for volunteering at OneEighty.
Group volunteer projects
OneEighty welcomes groups to assist with projects.
Auxiliary Committee
Committee members help plan events that fundraise and educate the public about OneEighty. Committees meet monthly.
Trained volunteer
OneEighty hosts sessions throughout the year. The sessions are an overview of the services and programs OneEighty offers to prepare a volunteer to work with the community or a client. An application is required to become a trained volunteer. After an application has been submitted, OneEighty conducts an interview with the applicant. Qualified candidates are offered a volunteer position and scheduled for a training session.
