The Ohio Mountain Bike League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association will host a mountain bike race at Camp Tuscazoar Sept. 21-22. Participants including the members of the Tuscazoar Composite Team are again looking forward to the 5-mile-long course.

New this year will be a shorter course of about 2.6 miles for middle school participants. The course begins with some turns through the grass before they head into the woods. It will feature some switchback climbs, some rocks and a long downhill.

This year the Pit Zone and Race Headquarters will be located closer to the entrance to the downhill cheer zone to allow for ease of spectating between the two locations.

The race will be held in the preserve area of Camp Tuscazoar, 4806 Boy Scout Road NE, Dover.
