OHuddle mentees, mentors enjoy fishing and fellowship

OHuddle mentees and mentors were able to experience an evening of fishing recently at The Wellspring in Wooster. OHuddle mentees and mentors joined in eating hot dogs and chips to begin the evening of fellowship. The Fraternal Order of Police donated fishing poles and tackle boxes for the mentees to keep after their evening of fishing.

Some mentees were able to experience fishing for the first time with experienced volunteers teaching how to cast, put a worm on and take the fish off the hook. Mentees caught many fish from large to small.

The evening ended around a campfire to roast marshmallows for s’mores. Mentees played various yard games. OHuddle thanks The Wellspring and the Fraternal Order of Police for sponsoring the chance for mentees to experience a night of fishing.
