OHuddle event raises over $27,000

OHuddle had a successful Floor is Lava fundraising event on Saturday, Nov. 4 at CrossFit Orrville.

Community members and their families came out to Orrville CrossFit to compete in four different obstacle courses. The beginner course allowed the youngest participants to join, and the professional course was for more serious competitors. In honor of the mentor relationship, a new course this year allowed two individuals to compete at the same time.

First-place winner of the professional course was Matthew with a time of 46.19 seconds, first-place winner of the red intermediate course was Paislley with a time of 11.13 and the first-place winner of the beginner course was Wyatt with a time of 14.15.

OHuddle thanks all of the participants who came out to support school-based mentoring. The organization raised more than $27,000 to sustain its mentorship service at Orrville City Schools.
