The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with NAMI of Wayne and Holmes Counties, is presenting “Artists Among Us.” Through June 15 artwork made by local people in recovery from mental illness will be on display at 20 locations in Orrville.

NAMI is a local nonprofit focused on peer-support and education for people affected by mental illness. Individuals involved in NAMI’s programming have created an array of artwork for people to enjoy as they stroll the streets of Orrville. All proceeds from the future sale of these pieces of art will benefit NAMI programming.

“NAMI does a wonderful job of taking away the stigma of mental Illness and meeting the mental health needs of our community,” said Dan Franks, president of the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce. “The chamber is pleased to support this program while adding some extra beauty to our member businesses and organizations.”

A complete list of “Artists Among Us” locations can be found on the Orrville Area Chamber’s Facebook page or by calling the chamber office at 330-682-8881.
