Debi Schneider-Howland of Computer Sense presented tech tips to the Networking Empowers Women group on Jan. 18 at the Conference Space at LincWay in Dalton.

The event began with a networking exercise, which allowed attendees to meet one another and learn something about the other participants. Attendees shared their top three values and why they matter to them personally and professionally.

Schneider-Howland shared Windows tips and tricks such as how to effectively take a screen shot, pin items and switch between apps. Schneider-Howland also shared some tips for using Office products and Excel.

“What’s next in technology?” Schneider-Howland said. “AI, which has been around since the 1940s, is big. You can learn more about AI and how to manage it with your business on Feb. 20 at another Orrville Area Chamber event.”

“This was my first time attending a NEW roundtable,” said Kelsie Mannasmith, an OSU student. “I really enjoyed learning from Debi and meeting all the other women.”

The next NEW roundtable will be held April 11 with Melanie Garcia of the Wayne County Community Foundation as the speaker. For more information on all upcoming chamber events, visit www.orrvillechamber.com.
