New fair entrance seeks community sponsorship

The Fairgrounds Initiative Committee is spearheading the new Tuscarawas Avenue entrance project at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds. The project is currently in construction and is planned to be completed for initial use for this year's fair.

The community is invited to be involved in the sponsorship of the entrance at varying levels of donation amounts with corresponding recognition through plaques, pavers and more. To encourage community support and involvement, they are planning a Sponsorship Day for Aug. 24 from 1-3 p.m. at the new entrance.

Community members, families, 4-H clubs, organizations and businesses can come meet with committee members, see the progress, and submit their sponsorship forms and amounts in person.
