Millersburg Hardware transitioning to new ownership this spring
Family-owned E&H Hardware Group is in the process of finalizing details to purchase Millersburg True Value Hardware, located at 70 N. Washington St., Millersburg, in early February 2017. Shortly thereafter the store will transition from True Value to Ace Hardware, ultimately bearing the name E&H Ace Hardware. Millersburg True Value Hardware is a second-generation business that was founded by Junior and Barb Yoder in 1972, initially opening in a Millersburg storefront on Jackson Street. In 1978 the business moved to its present location on Washington Street. Today the 44-year-old hardware is owned by Joel Yoder (son of Junior) and his wife Kristen. Although Joel and Kristen Yoder have enjoyed serving their loyal customers, they look forward to a new chapter as the business transitions to new ownership. They will stay involved within the community through their other business, Village Toy Shop of Millersburg. Joel Yoder also will continue his career as a certified public accountant with Rea & Associates Inc.
