A total of 274 different families came to the Love Center in Millersburg during the month of March.

A total of 274 different families came to the Love Center during the month of March. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 368 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 25,205 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 9,598 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 747.

Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Clark Church, Holmesville Church of Christ, Martins Creek Mennonite Church, Ripley Church of Christ Women Conference, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry of Millersburg and Zion Reformed Church of Winesburg.

Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Berlin Natural Bakery, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Hillcrest Orchard, Hillside Custom (Ben Yoder), Holmes County Humane Society, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery and McDonald’s of Millersburg.

Food and cash donations from individuals included Phyllis Boice, Kris Bridenthal, Ray Casdorph, Robert Craft, Debra Eckelberry, Vesta Hostetler, Sue Kauffman, Norene McDowell, Lester Miller, Rachel Miller, Betty Mullet, John Schie, Bob Starner, Bill Sundheimer, Greg Swick, Katharyn Wheeler, David Yoder and several anonymous.
