Love Center hosted 299 families during month of July

A total of 299 different families came to the Love Center during the month of July. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 413 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank was 32,520 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 12,398 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 866.
Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Church of God Food Pantry, Clark Presbyterian Church, Seven Day Adventist Church 5k and 10k run, St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Millersburg, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry in Millersburg, and Zion Reformed Church in Winesburg.
Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Ace Hardware, Berlin Natural Bakery, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, D & M Market, Farmside Country Market, Green Leaf, Hershberger Farm & Bakery, Hillcrest Orchard, Holmes County Home, Inn Maid Noodles, Ivan Yoder Builders LLC, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Keim Lumber Company, McDonald’s in Millersburg and Weaver Produce.
Food and cash donations from individuals included Ray Casdorph, Sandra Coleman, Rachel Day, Kay Earney, Vince Finney, Robert and Jody Gibbs, Frank Gnizak, Diane Graebner, Debora Hampton, Wayne Heller, Ivan and Fannie Hershberger, Kaitlyn Hershberger, Kristina Hess, Joseph Hochstetler, Norma Hoxworth, Sue Kauffman, Jan and Lynda Menuez, Lester Miller, Maynard Miller, Betty Mullet, Dr. John Rehm, William and Eleanor Runyan, Miriam Schlabach, Dr. Eric Shaver, Katharyn Wheeler, and several anonymous.
