Loudonville Public Library announces August programs

The Loudonville Public Library has programs scheduled for August. Call the library at 419-994-5531 for more information about any of these programs.
Pinterest Power
Participants will make a fabric sunflower on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m. or Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m. The classes are limited to 12 spots. A sample will be displayed in the library and posted on its Facebook page. Registration is available on its website.
Puzzle race
Teams will race against each other to see who can complete their puzzle first on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 10:30 a.m. Sign-up is required. The race is limited to 24.
Moms’ night out
All moms with children at home are invited to take a break and join the library on Monday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to participate in an adult craft and get fruit and veggie kebabs and fresh lemonade. Attendees’ children age 2 and up are welcome to join the library’s youth department for an age-appropriate program. Sign-up is required. The event is limited to 20.
Adult book discussion group
The discussion about “The Guest Book” by Sarah Blake will take place in the Golden Center on Friday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. Come for snacks and a discussion with other readers.
Bring your own book club
Book lovers can join the library’s new book club to discuss their current reads and discover new ones on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m.
