Local health needs assessment survey seeks participants

From now through the end of June, Healthy Tusc is asking Tuscarawas County adults to complete an online health needs assessment survey in exchange for a chance to win a $50 gas gift card. The results from these anonymous, confidential surveys are important to help local health and human service agencies identify the key health problems and needs of Tuscarawas County residents.
Each needs assessment survey takes an average of 15 minutes to complete, and the link can be found at www.tinyurl.com/healthytusc. After completing the survey, an online prompt will open a separate form where residents can submit their information if they would like to enter the drawing to win one of six $50 gas gift cards. The survey link offers an option for English or Spanish.
“We hope all county adults will take time to complete this important survey because every opinion means a lot to us,” said Jennifer Demuth, Healthy Tusc chairperson and director of health promotion and community relations with the Tuscarawas County Health Department. “Our local organizations are counting on the community’s participation to identify the health priorities that are impacting our community. This survey is conducted every three years, and the results are critical to help us find funding for the creation of new programs and services to meet our area’s most critical needs.”
Gift card winners will be announced in late July, and results of the anonymous survey will be shared in a community health needs assessment report this fall. Email Demuth at jdemuth@tchdnow.org.
