Local children’s author to host book-signing

Maggoo’s Pizza, Pasta & More will open its doors on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 2-4 p.m. to host local author Becky Swartzbaugh. Her first published book, “Clare Bear,” will be available along with the second book in the series of five books, “Clare Bear and the Mystery Cave,” which just came into the market last month.

Swartzbaugh will sign books and answer questions pertaining to her process of writing and self-publishing. She will share how she followed her dreams of publishing her stories. Her books are children’s stories for age 3-9. Also available for purchase will be the stuffed animal characters that are in her stories.

Guests are encouraged to visit and share time with this local author. There will be free coloring pages for children.

Maggoo’s Pizza, Pasta & More is located near the airport at 1816 E. High Ave. in New Philadelphia.
