Lights of Remembrance memorial trees are up

This holiday season Ohio’s Hospice Pathways of Hope invites the community to remember and honor their loved ones through its Lights of Remembrance memorial trees, now through Dec. 31.
Community members are encouraged to write the names of their loved ones on one of the cardstock ornaments by the memorial trees and place the person’s name on the tree. They also may share holiday memories or rituals that were enjoyed by them and their loved ones.
The memorial trees are located at local libraries across the area:
—Wayne County Public Library, 220 W. Liberty St., Wooster.
—Orrville Public Library, 230 N. Main St., Orrville.
—Holmes County District Public Library, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg.
The memorial trees are on display through Sunday, Dec. 31. In addition, if any community members would like to have their loved one’s name printed in The Wooster Daily Record on Christmas Eve, they should add the person’s name to the Christmas book located next to the memorial trees. Names need to be recorded in the book no later than noon on Thursday, Dec. 7.
Ohio’s Hospice Pathways of Hope provides a variety of services to the communities served. Support and education are provided by bereavement counseling professionals with experience assisting grieving children, adolescents and adults.
