This fall Dover Public Library invites all local teens in sixth grade to 12th grade to participate in Teen Tuesday events, a new book club and a gaming adventure. Registration is not required for any of the upcoming events. All events are free and sponsored in part by a 21st Century Grant with Dover High School. Interested patrons can call the library at 330-343-6123.

Weekly Teen Tuesday events will begin Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. in the library’s community room and run through Tuesday, Dec. 10. All Teen Tuesdays will begin at 3 p.m. and run approximately one hour. Light refreshments will be served.

Each Teen Tuesday will have a different theme and activities, starting with a STEAM Break-in Box on Sept. 17 and continuing with games, crafts and other activities throughout the fall.

Teens also will have the opportunity to participate in a monthly book club called Teens Read. Each month will have a different theme and an activity for book lovers. The first Teens Read meeting will be Friday, Sept. 27 at 3 p.m. Participants will discuss upcoming themes and activities for the book club.

Teens also are invited to join the Role Playing Game Club for a one-shot adventure called The Wizard’s Labyrinth on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2-5 p.m. Players will portray heroes caught in a maze of puzzles, monsters and more. Any level of character, from any role playing game, is welcome. Premade characters also will be provided. Participants may call teen services manager Liz Strauss at 330-343-6123 or email strausel@doverlibrary.org.
