Libraries hosting holiday events

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System has holiday events planned for this winter season.
A holiday open house will take place at the Tuscarawas County Main Library, 121 Fair Ave. NW, New Philadelphia, on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The OSU Extension will present a class on charcuterie boards at 11 a.m. In addition, live reindeer, crafts, food, vendors and music from the New Philadelphia Guitar program will be included. Call the Tuscarawas County Main Library at 330-364-4474 to register.
Christmas Movie Lunch-In at the Tuscarawas County Main Library will take place Saturday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m.
Watch a grouchy green character in this Christmas movie. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Call the Tuscarawas County Main Library to register.
Winter Around the World Party will take place at the Tusky Branch Library, 209 S. Main St., on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 5-7 p.m.
There will be food and games from different countries as attendees learn about many winter traditions. Call the Tusky Branch Library at 740-922-2748 to register.
Winter Festival will take place at the Bolivar Branch Library, 455 W. Water St., on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Santa in Strasburg will take place at the Strasburg Branch Library, 356 Fifth St. SW, on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.
Join Santa for stories, pictures, milk and cookies. Call the Strasburg Branch Library at 330-878-5711 to register.
A holiday open house will take place at the Sugarcreek Branch Library, 120 S. Broadway, on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4-7 p.m.
Join the library during Light Up Sugarcreek for hot chocolate, snacks and holiday activities. Call the Sugarcreek Branch Library at 330-852-2813 to register.
