Leaf painting for kids will be held Nov. 1 at Orrville library

Crafternoon, for kids in grades 3-6, will be held on Friday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. at Orrville Public Library. The group will make a magically appearing leaf painting with white crayons and a crepe paper “paint” technique.
Registration is required and begins on Monday, Oct. 21. Register by clicking on the event on the library website calendar, www.orrville.lib.oh.us, or by contacting the Children’s Department at 330-683-1065.
Crafternoons are held on the first Friday of each month for kids to explore various creative techniques and media. Projects change each month.
Cookbook Club
In November, Orrville Public Library’s Cookbook Club will be exploring Deb Perelman’s third cookbook, “Smitten Kitchen Keepers: New Classics for Your Forever Files.” These are fail-safe, satisfying recipes that you will want to prepare again and again. Recipes include chicken and dumplings, deep-dish broccoli cheddar quiche, tomato and corn cobbler, butterscotch apple crisp and Deb’s ultimate pound cake.
Pick up a copy of the cookbook at the library Circulation Desk and plan to come to the 6 p.m. meeting on Monday, Nov. 4. Prepare a dish or two to share with others. No registration is necessary.
For more information, contact the Information Desk at 330-683-1065.

Supplies are limited and registration is required. Register beginning Monday, Oct. 28 by clicking on the event on the library website calendar, www.orrville.lib.oh.us, or by contacting the Information Desk at 330-683-1065.
