Leadership Orrville graduates first class in decade

The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce graduated 16 members of the first Leadership Orrville class in a decade on May 15. The final Leadership Orrville session and graduation were held at The Barn at the Meadows in Orrville.

The mission of Leadership Orrville is to enrich the community through a values-based leadership-development program.

The program kicked off August 2023 and met each month leading up to the final class on May 15. The program provided participants the opportunity to discover their own leadership style and learn their own voice and how to communicate/lead other voices utilizing GiANT Leadership’s 5 Voices model. Team members toured various businesses, learned how local government works and discovered the mission of nonprofits in the area.

The final Leadership Orrville session wrapped up with participants sharing their personal mission statements. Each participant received a plaque to commemorate their completion of the program.

Applications for the next class of Leadership Orrville are being accepted through May 31. Leadership Orrville is open to both chamber members and nonmembers. Find the application at www.orrvillechamber.com.
