Kiwanis Strawberry Social is June 11

The annual Wooster Kiwanis Club Strawberry Social will be held Tuesday, June 11 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. at the main pavilion in Christmas Run Park, 700 N. Grant St., Wooster.

The social will include fresh strawberries, Buehler’s ice cream and shortcake. Proceeds raised from the event help fund new local playgrounds, provide books to kids, support the Key Club food pantries and many other community projects centered around children in Wayne County. The event will have live music performed by Bufflehead. Tommy’s Classic American Food truck will be on location for those who would like to have dinner before their strawberry shortcake sundae.

Tickets are $5 per person or 25 tickets for $125. Children under 5 eat for free, and all children will receive a free book.
