Jarrett’s Nussbaum earns supply chain honor
Aaron Nussbaum, Jarrett director of logistics operations, was named a recipient of the 2024 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award by “Food Logistics,” the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of products through the global cold food supply chain.
The award recognizes individuals in the industry whose achievements, work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain. Nussbaum placed in the Top Warehousing category.
“Supply-chain rock stars are the backbone of the cold food chain. The words used to describe many of this year’s winners range from collaborative, passionate, innovative and forward-thinking to inspired, driven and dependable,” said Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of “Food Logistics” and supply and demand chain executive. “These winners continue to go above and beyond to improve food safety, enhance efficiency and disrupt supply-chain disruptions.”
Since joining Jarrett, Nussbaum has developed, mentored and inspired future supply-chain leaders and continued to learn about the industry and give back to his community. His eagerness to learn, teach and implement industry standards and changes has helped him become a leader at Jarrett. His goal is to deliver products to customers as quickly and efficiently as possible without compromising on quality and safety.
“I am incredibly humbled to be named a recipient of the 2024 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award. To me, this award is not a personal achievement but instead a testament to the collective effort of everyone who has been part of my professional and personal life,” Nussbaum said. “I’m looking forward to this year and continuing to build relationships, execute supply-chain solutions, and provide growth opportunities for both Jarrett and our customers.”
Nussbaum spearheaded Jarrett’s recent warehouse expansion in Orrville. The new addition was unveiled in January with a ribbon cutting and brings with it the opportunity to onboard new customers and new employees to join the Jarrett team.
