The Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market and the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership will host the seventh annual Holiday Market on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 3-7 p.m. at New Towne Mall, just inside entrance B near Empire China Buffet.

The Holiday Market will offer local, fresh, in-season produce and arts and crafts to provide an opportunity to shop for locally made holiday gifts.

The Holiday Market is always held two days before Thanksgiving so shoppers can gather a variety of locally grown and produced items for their Thanksgiving meal: turkey, beef, chicken, pork, eggs, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, kale, lettuce, shallots, cabbage, mushrooms, brussels sprouts, broccoli, leeks, cauliflower, squash, maple syrup, honey, cookies, pies, breads, popcorn, candied nuts, macarons, cotton candy, chocolates and more.

There is still time to preorder your Thanksgiving turkey through The Shepherd’s Market. Preordered turkeys will be available for pickup at the Holiday Market and properly defrosted so they will be ready for immediate preparation for Thanksgiving meals.

Turkeys are raised on non-GMO feed and pastured, and the price is $3.50 per pound. Preorder your turkey by sending an email to ShepherdsMarket@live.com or by calling/texting 330-390-4783. Include your size preference. Orders must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 15.

During the Holiday Market, shoppers will find a variety of arts and crafts vendors selling wooden wares, body products, pottery, jewelry, macrame, ornaments, potted plants, books, hair accessories, candles, car fresheners, room sprays, clothing, tumblers, key chains, paintings, quilts, aprons and more.

The Yummy Pita food truck also will be onsite, and there will be live music by Nick Bonner from 5-7 p.m.
