Holiday Market provides seasonal produce and meat

The Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market will host the eighth annual Holiday Market on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 3-7 p.m. at New Towne Mall, just inside Entrance B near Empire China Buffet. The Holiday Market will offer local, fresh produce and arts and crafts from local vendors.
“The holidays are an important time for our community to gather, celebrate our loved ones and share gratitude,” said Tori Noah, general manager at New Towne Mall. “We are proud to offer events and activities that bring people together to ignite the spirit of the season while also supporting our local small businesses.”
The Holiday Market is always held two days before Thanksgiving so shoppers can gather a variety of locally grown and produced items including beef, chicken, pork, eggs, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, kale, lettuce, shallots, cabbage, broccoli, leeks, cauliflower, squash, Brussels sprouts, maple syrup, honey, breads, rolls, desserts and more.
Local artists affiliated with the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership will offer their products to help patrons get a jump-start on their Christmas shopping. Shoppers also will hear live music by Nick Bonner from 5-7 p.m.
