The annual Harvest Fest Parade will take place in Berlin on Sept. 7.

Since July 2003, the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau has worked alongside the Berlin Main Street Merchants to host the annual Harvest Fest Parade. It coincides with the annual Berlin Harvest Fest. Harvest Fest activities include live music on the Berlin square, a rib cook-off, food vendors, sales and specials.

The Harvest Fest Parade will step off at 6 p.m. on U.S. 62 in front of Berlin Mennonite Church. The parade will continue west on state Route 39 and end at the Berlin Elementary School. Parade sign-in will be located on Crilow Road. All entries must preregister for the event.

Marching bands, fire departments, local businesses, residents and children are invited to participate.

To preregister a float, truck, walker, horse or volunteer, fill out the registration form and submit it to Michaela Miller at the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau. Send it via email, fax 330-674-3976, mail it, drop it off in person or register online at https://business.holmescountychamber.com/ap/Events/Register/R1Fjb6AsRC0CX. Call Miller at the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau at 330-674-3975 or email administrative@holmescountychamber.com with any questions.

There is no charge to participate. Entries are not numbered, and lineup is on a first come, first served basis. For everyone’s safety throwing candy from a vehicle is prohibited. All candy, food items, produce and promotional items must be handed out by walkers. All entries are due by Aug. 30. Registration is required to participate. Thanks goes out to Berlin Gardens LLC for sponsoring the parade.
