Farewell event planned for retiring CEO

United Way of Tuscarawas County, a nonprofit organization, announced the forthcoming retirement of Robin Waltz, its chief executive officer, effective spring 2024.
Waltz, who assumed the role of CEO in 2016, was instrumental in propelling the organization’s growth and success. Her leadership drove numerous initiatives that enhanced United Way’s capacity to address pressing social issues and effect change in communities throughout Tuscarawas County.
In addition to being an advocate for more than 10 partner agencies and 17 partner programs, under Waltz’s guidance, United Way expanded its impact through the introduction of new services such as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, a program that has served thousands of community members, and the local launch of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a children’s literacy program bringing age-appropriate books to more than 5,500 children in the area.
The board has initiated a search for a new CEO. Interested candidates are invited to email a cover letter and resume to careers@tuscunitedway.org. During this period Waltz and board
leadership will collaborate closely to ensure a seamless transition.
A farewell event to honor Waltz and celebrate her contributions to United Way is currently in the planning stages. More details will be shared soon.
