Dover to fill city council position

Dover City Democratic Central Committee members will meet Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. at Democratic Headquarters, 1260 Monroe St. NW, New Philadelphia, to fill an at-large position on the Dover City Council.

The current position is held by council member Gina Space, who submitted her resignation from Dover Council, effective Dec. 19, in order to assume her elected position as Dover city law director on Jan. 1.

The person appointed to the at-large position must be a resident of Dover.
