Document-shredding event to support the literacy coalition
The Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition will host a document-shredding and destruction event Saturday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon in the lower parking lot of First Federal Community Bank on the Boulevard in Dover.
There is no cost to recycle items, but freewill donations will be accepted to support the coalition’s 2025 One Book One Community program.
Accepted materials include legal documents, old tax records, medical records and financial statements, with a limit of four boxes per vehicle. E-waste will not be accepted this year.
Shredding items cannot be dropped off before 10 a.m. to allow for event setup. Participants must sign a waiver form before submitting materials for shredding.
Call Jim Gill at the Dover Public Library at 330-343-6123. To learn more about the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition, visit www.tuscliteracy.org or find them on Facebook.
