Democratic party to host picnic

The Tuscarawas County Democratic Party will host a family picnic on Sunday, July 21 at the Tuscora Park Dining Hall in New Philadelphia from 1-3 p.m.

Hot dogs and burgers will be served. The event is free, and ride tickets for kids are available as long as they last.

There will be a special appearance by Charlie Brown and deputy campaign manager Irene Lin. Brown is the former attorney general of West Virginia and the brother of Sen. Sherrod Brown. All progressives are welcome.
