Customer rep program set to start Jan. 10 at WCSCC

Wayne County Schools Career Center adult education will offer a customer service representative program beginning Jan. 10. Participants in this six-week course will gain customer service skills and be ready to join the workforce with credentials that are transferable within any industry.

This course includes an academic refresher, workforce preparation, and a National Retail Foundation curriculum and credential called Rise Up.

There are no prerequisites for this course or minimum education requirements prior to enrollment. The tuition is $600, although some individuals may qualify for grant funding to cover the entire cost.

Registration is now open for the next class, which will run Jan. 10 through Feb. 14. Class will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Wayne County Schools Career Center Adult & Community Education Building. The Wayne County Schools Career Center is located at 518 W. Prospect St. in Smithville.
