The Massillon Museum will offer a pen and ink cartooning workshop with Douglas Laubacher on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 1-3 p.m. for adults and children age 8 and older. Participants will experiment with the analog tools cartoonists use to finalize their work — India ink, dip pens and brushes.

Laubacher is a cartoonist and art educator from Northeast Ohio. His comic strip, “Unbound,” can be read in The Tuscarawas County Bargain Hunter. A member of the National Cartoonist Society, he teaches cartooning in art centers and libraries throughout the region.

Registration is limited and can be completed at MassMu.org/Tickets or by calling 330-833-4061. The class fee is $25 per person or $20 per MassMu member and includes supplies.

The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way E. in downtown Massillon. Call the museum at 330-833-4061 or visit www.massillonmuseum.org.
