Author to visit Dover Library
Patricia M. Albrecht

Author and photographer Patricia M. Albrecht, formerly of New Philadelphia, will come to Dover Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss her love of writing and the books she has written. A book-signing will follow the program.

In her book titled “Three Tiny Houses — that weren’t,” Albrecht details her journey after unexpectedly losing her husband of 39 years. Searching for peace, Albrecht transitions from a three-story empty house to pursue a small area to gather her thoughts and emotions and begin the road to healing.

She also will talk about her book titled “Thoughts from an Old Lady,” which is Albrecht’s comical account of life as a 65-year-old widow living in a log cabin apartment on a lake in Wisconsin. In the book she shares her life as a senior and the many things she has learned along the way.

Albrecht lived in New Philadelphia, where she was a freelance writer for The Bargain Hunter and a member of the Tuscarawas County Writer’s Guild and the Friends of the Library. Her passion has always been writing, and her purpose in life is leaving a legacy for her grandchildren. Albrecht currently lives in Wisconsin.

This program will be held in the community room at the DPL, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org/events or call the library at 330-343-6123.
