Art on the Alley will host its fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Ashwood Lane Southwest, Allen Lane Southwest and First Drive Southwest in downtown New Philadelphia.

Between Alley Cats Marketplace and Fresh the Market to the Tuscarawas County Public Library, there will be over 200 artisans displaying and selling their products.

At Alley Cats Marketplace, the day will feature musician/singer Smalls Smalley from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., T-County Ukelele Players from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and Tequila Mary from 2-4 p.m. Fall Balloon Twister and Larry Notz & Mandolin Dave will perform at Fresh the Market at noon.

Many other performances and food trucks will be at various locations throughout the Art on the Alley area.

This fall festival creates a shopping, dining and family experience in downtown New Philadelphia, said Debbie Aubihl-Knisely, owner of Alley Cats Marketplace & Fresh the Market.

A new addition this season is the open doors of the former Brogan building, next to Fresh the Market. Jessica Haney, My Museum Tattoo Studio, has taken ownership and created an art studio. The building is displaying many of her eclectic works of art.

“With Jessica taking ownership of this building and Lacey’s Performing Arts Center at 116 First Drive and us with Fresh the Market & Alley Cats Marketplace, this completes this distinctive little art block in downtown New Philadelphia,” Aubihl-Knisely said.
