Those looking for a night on the town may look forward to Killbuck Ladies Night. The annual event will take place March 15 from 5-8 p.m. in downtown Killbuck.

The event centers around shopping, deals and St. Patrick’s Day, organizer Debi Stadler said. Local and chain vendors and other attractions will be sprinkled throughout the town.

“(The goal) has always been trying to let people see what Killbuck has that might surprise them,” Stadler said.

Participants can start their evening with dinner at Killbuck Sweet Shoppe, Snow Side Restaurant, Killbuck County Market or Pizza Parlor II. A shuttle will transport event-goers from The Duncan Theater to Killbuck Sweet Shoppe.

“(The night) has pretty much Holmes County people and their businesses,” Stadler said, “and a lot of local artists that create jewelry and different things.”

Killbuck Country Market will offer pizza by the slice and deli sandwiches. Fringe Hair Lounge will host vendors Bellame with Lee Ann Dial and Kristina Flener and Pure Romance with Lisa Gingerich. Killbuck Valley Thrift Store will offer a sale on all winter clothing, a $10 per bag deal. The Scout House, formerly Dr. Pratt’s office, will host Sweet Fire Sugarbush, Carrie Elvey’s Creations and Danielle’s Side Hustle by Danielle Markley.

Killbuck Valley Museum will be open for self-guided tours and will have organizations OneEighty and Holmes County General Health District. Killbuck Community Library will host Crafty Crafts by Terri Lint Pierce and Sue’s Sweets.

The Duncan Theater will host a photo-op wall for selfies in addition to the Killbuck Queens’ bake sale and a variety of vendors. Booths include Universal Revival, a pop-up boutique by Autumn Miller; Red Aspen, press-on nails and makeup by Teresa Smith; HH Designs, tumblers by Hailey Haut; Jessica’s Beadery by Jessica Straits; Norwex by Tracy McCombs; and art by local artist Michael DeWitt.

Killbuck Methodist Church will welcome Creative Crafts by B with Betty Bales, Creative Creations by Callie Selders, Just Flow With It with Kara Snyder, Kreations by Kristen Halfhill, Mary Kay with Lisa Lang, Millercreations 03 by Carolyn Miller, Stitches Creative Sewing by Nyla Burrick, Crafts by Sharon by Sharon Hoxworth, Maw Maw’s Crafts, Tulaxii and A&D Designs with Dusty Vehrs.

Killbuck Valley Market will offer raffle prizes, which will be announced at the end of the night. The first prize is a $50 gift certificate to the market, second prize is a $25 gift certificate and third prize is a free 12-piece chicken. Participants do not have to be present to win.

Event-goers can end their evening from 8-11 p.m. at Killbuck VFW Post 7079 for karaoke, music by disc jockey John Chipner and drink specials.
