On Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m, Tusky Valley Local Schools Technology Specialist Tiffany Shaw will lead an artificial intelligence discussion at the Main Library of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System.

“We are really pleased to have someone so knowledgeable share information with us about artificial intelligence,” said Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell. “Ms. Shaw sits on the Ohio Lt. Governor’s AI in Education Coalition, and she has recently completed an International Society for Technology in Education Educator Cohort focused on exploring artificial intelligence and its practical use in school environments.”

Attendees will learn the basics of artificial intelligence, its potentials, and its pitfalls. Shaw will share how AI can be a tool to help us save time, money and energy. A question and answer session will conclude the program.

The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW, New Philadelphia. Registration for this free program can be completed by calling 330-364-4474.
