6 locals earn All-Ohio girls basketball honors

The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association recently announced its All-Ohio girls basketball teams, and six local players earned honors.

West Holmes had two players receive accolades in Division II.

Keegan Uhl was selected to the special mention team while Allie McMillen was picked to the honorable mention team.

Uhl, a 5-foot-9 senior, averaged 9.9 points. McMillen, a 5-4 senior, averaged 6.7 points.

Hiland had four players earn honors in Div. IV.

Ashley Mullet was a first-team pick, and Joplin Yoder was a third-team choice. Mallory Stutzman was named to the special mention team, and Trish Troyer earned honorable mention accolades.

Mullet, a 5-8 senior, averaged a team-high 21 points. Yoder, a 6-foot junior, averaged 13 points. Stutzman, a 5-11 senior, averaged 13 points. Troyer, a 5-8 junior, averaged 9 points.
