Ridgewood student donates to Lafayette Pointe

Wesson McPherson contributes $300 in gifts to Coshocton care facility.

Lafayette Pointe received a pay-it-forward donation from Wesson McPherson, a junior at Ridgewood High School and participant in the Coshocton County Youth Leadership program through the Coshocton Foundation.

McPherson received a $100 donation through the CCYL program and chose to give back by adding an additional $200 of his own to make a greater impact. With his donation he purchased items for residents including puzzles, books, clothing, socks, lotion, games, aftershave, stimulation items and fidgets.

McPherson said his grandmother was once a resident at Lafayette Pointe, making this act more meaningful.
