Coshocton workshop for farmers market vendors
Learn about food regulations and labeling on March 3 at OSU Extension.
Ohio State University Extension Coshocton County and Coshocton Farmers Market are cohosting a workshop for farmers market food vendors; anyone selling cottage foods, baked goods, eggs or meat from home or farm; and those who manage a farmers market or craft show Tuesday, March 3 from 6:30-8 p.m. at 745 S. Seventh St., room 145, Coshocton.
The workshop will cover current regulations and recent changes. This includes labeling requirements and required inspections for selling food at farmers markets and from homes and farms.
Emily Marrison, OSU Extension family and consumer science educator, will teach the class. The class is free, but registration is appreciated. Register by calling 740-622-2265.
