Cardinal Chorale hosts free Coshocton concert

The 30th edition of the Cardinal Chorale will be in Coshocton for a Winter Pops Concert with special guests, the Coshocton Community Choir. The concert will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St., Coshocton. The concert is sponsored by Grace United Methodist Church and the Coshocton Community Choir.
The chorale's 90-minute program will feature selections from its 2025 show, "Love Will Be Our Guide." The chorale is conducted by Charles R. Snyder and accompanied by Caroline Heading, Mark Wagner and Dickie Barrick.
Organized in summer 1995 by its conductor Charles R. Snyder, the cardinal chorale is a select 40-voice traveling ensemble of high school and college singers. In its 25-year history, the chorale has been invited to sing for a number of professional conferences and has performed on the campuses of Capital University, Muskingum University, Kent State University, Ohio University and Penn State University. The chorale also has sung for a number of state celebrations including the rededication of the Ohio Statehouse and the state's Martin Luther King Jr. celebration in Columbus.
Local members of the current chorale include Aaron Bolz, Jensen Cunningham, Jonah Gano, Mason Gano, LJ Grimmett, Natalie Huston, Camryn Karcher, Mattie Kiser, Josaline Leasure, Emily Maple, Raven Napier, Owen Spaulding, John Stamper, Mallorie Stamper, Aidan Stevens-Woolery, Brianna Stevens-Woolery, Liam Stevens-Woolery, Sheldon Stotts, Lily Thorson, Finn Webb, Lilly Wells and Michaela White.
There is no admission charge for the concert, but an offering will be received to help cover the chorale's and community choir's expenses and to further their mission work.
