Carroll County Veterans Service Commission suspends walk-in, transportation services

Carroll County Veterans Service Commission officials closedthe office to walk-in visits until Governor Mike DeWine recalls the state ofemergency issued last week.

Cynthia Black, executive director, said a self-servicestation is set up in the entrance at the 160 2nd St., NW,Carrollton, office which will be open during normal business hours wherevisitors will find information, applications and a drop box for paperwork.Employees will continue working, however all business will be conductedremotely by email, [email protected]or by calling 330-627-2590.

Examples of services available during the state of emergencyare emergency financial assistance, intent to file, limited compensation claimsand notice of disagreement (appeals).

All transportation is suspended. VA providers can providedetails about telehealth of video health options available to veterans.
