A new chapter for all of us

For more than five decades, AloNovus publications have been delivering trusted, local, community-focused stories that shine a light on the best in our towns and counties. From the Wayne, Holmes, Tuscarawas and Stark editions of The Bargain Hunter to the stories of Knox, Medina, Harrison and Coshocton counties and beyond, our mission has always been the same: to connect, inform and celebrate the communities we call home.

Now, we're stepping into a new era — one in which all 12 of our print publications live together under one digital roof. YourOhioNews.com is just that: Yours. It's a place to read stories from your own community while discovering the people, places and events shaping our neighbors' lives across the region.

As a Northeast Ohio native, I feel deeply connected to the areas we serve. A Marlington High School graduate, I grew up just outside Alliance and Minerva, spent summers in Tuscarawas and Holmes counties, visited Hartville community events and made special trips to Carrollton and Coshocton with my dad. Today, I live in Ashland County, close to Wayne County where I still have family, and my own family roots stretch across Stark, Coshocton, Tuscarawas and Holmes counties.

YourOhioNews.com is part of AloNovus Corp, a company serving 13 counties across Ohio with a network of weekly and monthly newspapers reaching more than 409,000 homes. From rural towns to vibrant suburbs, we connect communities such as Wooster, Medina, New Philadelphia, Mount Vernon, Millersburg, Carrollton and Cadiz, providing the kind of local news, editorial coverage and advertising presence that larger daily papers no longer offer.

That’s why I'm so excited to help lead AloNovus into this next chapter. Our 12 print papers aren't going away; they're being enhanced by this new digital home. Whether you prefer flipping through a printed page or scrolling on your phone, YourOhioNews.com will keep delivering the trustworthy, neighborly journalism you’ve always counted on, now with even more ways to connect.

And for those who may have moved away from the place they grew up, YourOhioNews.com offers something special — a way to bring a piece of home with you, no matter how many miles separate you from the community you love.

Here's what you can expect:

— Easy navigation: Quickly browse your home region or explore others through our organized regional home pages and view current print editions online.

— Full access to every print edition: Read each of our 12 publications online in its entirety, exactly as it appears in print.

— Local news: Timely updates from across all 12 AloNovus communities, published as stories develop.

— Community features: Human-interest stories and profiles that highlight the best of our towns and counties.

— Sports coverage: Expanded reporting on high school sports, highlighting teams and athletes from across multiple counties.

— Event information: A comprehensive calendar of festivals, fairs, concerts and community happenings across the state, easily filtered by region.

This is more than a website launch — it's an expansion of the connection we've built together over the years. I can't wait for you to explore YourOhioNews.com and see how it brings our communities even closer.
